In a typical non-linear editing (NLE) workflow, renders are generated for the purpose of real-time playback. Radeon Pro SSG graphics cards augment existing Premiere Pro CC functionality by providing the option to cache uncompressed video frames as part of the render process. Hoping that someone here knows of this issue and has a remedy. using the latest Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2018 with Radeon Pro SSG graphics support.
Is this a known issue? what could possibly cause this? i'd hate to have to go back through all of the testimonials in PP and add 2-4 frames at the end just to be able to lose them again upon import into FCPX.there must be a better way! I am on the newest version of FCPX (10.2.1), using it to add animated captions to a number of testimonials that i keyed and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2014.over the past few days i noticed that every clip i imported to the FCPX timeline (i rendered everything out of PP in ProRes422LT) are 2 (sometimes even 4) frames shorter than the rendered PP clips.dragging out the end handle will not add them back in, so they seem literally ignored by FCPX.įor most of the testimonials this has not been a show-stopper, but i have quite a few which had to be edited in such a way that the speaker had to be cut off between words in the end, so even 2 frames can make the difference been the closing "S" being there or not. I am nearing the end of a rather taxing editing project for a client in San Francisco.
